About The Artist

Having a strong passion for arts, Malini expresses herself through various mediums including acrylics, oils, pastels, charcoal compositions and resin. She is a contemporary artist working primarily in modern impressionism.

Her artistic style blends bold palette knife textures with expressive layers of acrylic and mixed media. Inspired by the adventurous soul within, her style of artwork is all about rough textures and shines. She believes that our surroundings are our biggest lessons; we learn from the rough patches, reflect on it and hold on to what is valuable. It is a form of self-discovery.

Having participated an art residency in Greece, the experience allowed her to immerse herself in the rich cultural and historical context of the city, inspiring her work and deepening her artistic practice. During her residency, she engaged with local artists, explored various techniques and produced a series of works that reflect both the vibrant atmosphere of Athens and her own artistic evolution on Greek mythology

Her penchant for travelling has shaped her creativity over the years. That experience has greatly influence her perspective and has become a pivotal part of her artistic journey. Many of her artworks are in private collection in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, UK and Spain.
